What I don't have a feel for is a correlation between model weight and speed versus fiberglass thickness, layering, and epoxy/Polycrylic application. The carbon fiber strip isnt a bad idea though. the most stress would be in a high start launch where the wing would flex the most in the first few seconds after letting go.
