So for trouble shooting disconnect the tach and connect the fi pickup wire directly to your tach signal wire. The FiTech sends spark signal to the MSD 6a via FiTech black wire connected to the MSD 6a white wire. The MSD 6a then sends signal to the coil according to the FiTech instructions. I can't get a consistent tach signal in timing control. I would also check the ground on the HI-6 to make sure it’s a solid connection. Re-Did the grounds, will try the tach. One thing I have not checked is vacuum.
