Poly l-lysine coating protocol
Web-The following protocol is for coating 180 slides with poly-l-lysine. -Be sure slide racks are bent slightly inwards in the middle to hold slides more securely. -DO NOT use powdered gloves at any time during this protocol. -To avoid dust, try to keep slides covered or submerged in solution at all times. WebMETHOD. 1. Prepare 1.5-mg/mL (100X) aliquots of poly-L-ornithine hydrochloride by diluting in H 2 O. Store at −20°C. 2. Prepare coated plates: i. Dilute the 100X poly-L-ornithine to 1X in sterile 1X PBS, and pipette enough of the solution to cover the surface of each well. Incubate plates overnight at 37°C.
